OMG, we were billed twice for the toner!!!!!!! Luckily the "literary associate" is doing battle with them on the telephone. Meanwhile, the book-keeper listens in and sporadically offers "it's a scam" and chuckles to herself. Now the book-keeper is extolling the genuis of "Middlesex." I TOTALLY wish I could see anacondas. I'm in tokyo right now and the newest american movie to come out here is van helsing.

My sister spent a hunk of the summer in Tokyo and found the experience "life changing," then again she's a materialistic Westerner who lives in Miami and was likely more vulnerable to the torsion between the two cultures & any revelations that might occur in the chasm of difference. I know you speak the language and are well-versed in the ways of the samuri , but I hope you have an amazing semester.

I totally am already and it has only been three days. I really didn't know if I would be up for living out here if I found a job, but so far the answer is YES!!! But the is a typhoon now, so I can't go out.LAME.
