Today I paint my old red walls white for someone else. Today, I’ve assisted- literarily - but soon that comes to a close. sometimes, a job you sort of like that pays decent is better than a job you haaaate that doesnt pay well. sometimes, you have to pay the bills.

your tot rite, but here I was talking about my job, imagining applicants applying for it dreaming of future possibility, but discovering how its really pretty much dead end -- its the frustration of an entire generation, how, in many cases, once we get a gig, theres so little room to move...I think my job would in many ways be more tolerable if it were more honest about its lack of prospects; so I guess dreams dont smell like statis, but rather oftentimes sure end up feeling like it
