Oh, well written!
I liked this - it's very erotic, gently humorous ('For Alexandros it would knock down walls' - I love it!) and also rather touching. I had always wondered how Hephaistion managed on his wedding night, bless him, and I'm glad he managed the deed. Is there nothing he wouldn't do for his beloved Alexandros?
So here, in the line of duty, he encounters another woman who confounds him, yet this scene manages to be totally about the love - and passion - that exists between him and Alexander. I almost feel sorry for Drypetis - who had to be Alex-by-proxy, but at least it sounds as if she enjoyed the experience.

I'm usually not much for smut, but sometimes I stray. This one was a matter of curiousity as much as anything - my Hephaistion, in case you didn't spot it, is not much of a man for the ladies, and like you I wondered how he might have managed it. It's not quite the same thing as closing one's eyes and thinking of England, but it's not far off. Aw, bless. ;) In any case, it's only fair that Alexander should, ahem "play his part" in this consummation - the whole bloody marriage thing was his idea, after all!

It was Melian who sent me over. We're ol' hobbit slashers (don't freak, it's perfectly normal!) Being new to the Alexander fandom, I always ask around for good authors. You came highly rec'd, m'dear. And DON'T appologize for smut or lack thereof, it's quality I care about, characterization. From what I've read so far, you hit the mark quite pleasingly.

I've got a little one who keeps me busy daytime, but I'll be back to gobble up more in the late hours. And when I really get some free time, contribute a story or two of my own.
