Summary: Feeling well enough to get out of RED base and into the cold air, RED has taken his Pyro's dog to the park. He could use some time outside

Stein was simply getting a feel for the layout of the city, as well as the people who lived there. So many varied types of souls, though many seemed to share some traits.

The cold didn't bother him as he paused under a tree to enjoy his cigarette, his eyes following the puppy playing fetch for a moment before settling on the man on the bench.

While Sniper was aware of the presence of another passerby in the park, he pointedly ignored the man as he watched Teriyaki run back and forth. It wasn't until he felt eyes burning on him that Sniper shot him a hard look.

Stein's look didn't waver at all and he only slipped his hands into the pockets of his labcoat as he gauged him. One nice thing about Soul Perception was the ability to get a general sense f a person's personality just by looking at their soul.

"Ya got a reason for staring, mate?" RED asked, unimpressed that the man didn't knock it off once his look was returned.

"Nothing in specific no." Exhaling the smoke, he offered a shrug. "I am curious though how a person gets injured in such an apparently peaceful place."

"This place ain't all that peaceful." RED kept his gaze trained on the stranger, not trusting him. "That's all there is to it."

"Is that so?" This was a wise thing on the Sniper's part. Though Stein had no ill intent...at the moment. "So injuries are common then?"

"I wouldn't say that, either. Things happen. That's all."
