She wasn't very surprised when she found herself out in the middle of nowhere, long used to the nightly wanderings she had in the minds of Paradises' citizens. Half resigned, yet half curious, she takes a moment to admire the lake in front of her before she noticed the trees and a somewhat familiar man sitting underneath them.

"Unfortunately, I think you're right. But I do agree that the sport is relaxing."

This is probably nearly as bad as RED's dream. It's a totally different thing to actually hear BLU speak so fondly of her, than to read it in the notes about him. She really doesn't know what else to say, or how else to continue the dream.

"Can't win every day. Fish have a mind 'f their own." He sat back down on the blanket turning back to the carving in his lap.

"What about you? Got any hobbies outside work?" A half smile spread across his face as he watched her from under the brim of his hat. "Someone special ya spend time with?"

"M-me!?"

That was not a question she'd ever expect to hear from him. Ever. Later she would have the time to reflect how much he had changed when his fiance left him, but for now there's a slight tinge of red on her face as she stutters out a reply.

"I...don't be silly Sniper. I don't have anyone l-like that."

He'll feel embarrassed about this later, but right now he just grins when he sees her blush. Right now she's not his employer, she's just a friend who's out fishing with him.

"An' why not? Yer a likable sort 'f gal."

It's hard for her to think of him as a friend when she knows this is all just a dream. Very few people have ever asked her this question before either, so a combination of the two is making this conversation awkward indeed, at least for her.

"I don't really have the time for relationships."

A half truth.

"It's complicated."

Which is her standard answer for questions she deems too private to talk about. She gives the rod another half-hearted jerk.

"Complicated huh?" He doesn't believe that for a second, but he lets it go. "Do that again, I think you moight have somethin'."

Watching the line he's noticing a small amount of tension, like something might be thinking about nibbling on the bait. He stands up to peer into the water, a couple of shadowy shapes flickering around where the line meets the water.

Glad for the change in topic, she repeats her motion again at his direction.

"Atta girl! Ya got somethin'." He stands up and grabs the net, watching the fish struggle against the line. "So go ahead an' reel him in. Slowly so he don't get away. If ya do it too fast he'll snap th' hook."

She does as told and reels the fish in carefully. Eventhough fishing is far from a priority in her life, she still cares enough to not mess this up. As such, she remains focus on the line as she slowly attempts to drag the struggling fish out of the water.

When the fish gets a bit closer to the surface BLU slips the net underneath it and pulls the flopping fish out of the water. "Not bad fer yer first toime."

He holds the net up so she can see her catch, a pudgy medium sized fish.

Even in a dream, she can't believe that she caught the fish. Still, there it is, flopping around in the net. A relieved smile breaks on her face.

"That's because I had a good teacher."

He scoops it out with his hand tossing it into a small bucket with water. "Jus' been doing it all my life is all."

"Are you planning to catch fish for a living?"
