Yay on the 8-step. I've got a decent one slow too.....but....so I know what you mean. Yet, it bodes very well to have it down slow. That will translate into speed with the cadence you want.

Cross strokes are easier said than done----correctly that is. It's taken me weeks, literally, to get my forwards back to where they were, and that is not stellar. Backwards I love, though they, too, need work. Good job on those!

Power pulls are evil. I get a good rip backwards, but the forwards ones? And I hear you on the lean. My coach in constantly on me for that. Of course I have none.

I also know what you mean about the 3 patterns. Four is ideal, as reflects power and speed, hopefully along with depth of edge AND turns on top of the lobe. What a tall order. At least that;s the way I feel.

YAY on a good day, 3turn. I sure do know what you mean about the mood swings and the throat slit, smirk. Stick with it. You're doing such good work these days!
