It's a long holiday weekend here in the States. I skated Wednesday and was scheduled for a lesson but Coach L had car trouble. Still got a good 75 minutes in, depsite the holiday hooligans on the ice. Spent some time talking an older woman (visiting for the holiday) who was working on her Gold Moves. Sorry to hear of the abandoned lesson - BUT I always turn this into a positive by taking the lesson money to Macy's! Must look into the new Moves, I am crossing my fingers they will take out power pulls.

Good luck at the outside rink - they are usually crappy but I bust out my old Freestyle skates when I use that kind of ice. It takes me a few minutes to not fall over backwards in them, though......
