Unfortunate indeed is the man who cant look back at the days of his childhood and smile. In terms of the days of my youth, I’m privileged to have been splendidly blessed. I was so impressed by the line
"Life is nothing but the corruption and systematic destruction of a beautiful ideal known as childhood."
that I googled it up to see if it is an original or if some drunk/stoned hippie crooned it at some point.

I have been writing way too much about my childhood days, even on this blog. At one point I wondered if I was getting stuck in my past.

As much we crib about the lost kid, the kid is never lost. You've evolved, for its a phase too. Wouldn't you look back to this point sometime later in your life as well? :)

Makes me think, one never gets to reminisce the old age.

I'll quote myself

Hey, I dont think that line was a quote. I think I thought it up myself, but I could very well have seen the idea somewhere and developed on it. In this matter let me quote some famous guy, (i dont know who though, maybe you can google this one), who said, its never safe to be nostalgic about something until you know its not going to come back. But ya, I guess you are right. The kid never goes away completely. My heart still skips a beat when i pass a hard level in a video game. ;-)
