Just got back from taking zeightyfiv to the airport. The Schedulers That Be shuffled him onto a later flight, so I ended up hanging around the airport with him for a couple hours. Goodbyes are less painful when they're short.

Up too late staring at NMR spectra. Been doing that since noon-ish yesterday. Finally remembered to break for dinner.

I've reached the conclusion that all of the operator overloading onto "x" is a real pain. It significantly increases the amount of context one needs to parse a statement using one of the "x" operators, which makes orienting myself within notes from my various math classes that much harder.

The Oxfordshire Primary Care Trust has a nasty catch-22 in its treatment of transfolk. Oxfordshire PCT will only fund gender reassignment when ones' condition, through non-treatment, has made one too ill to undergo surgery. I've gotten really sick of minimal-preparation food, since last time I simultaneously had time and energy to clean the kitchen. That was about a month ago.
