These devices contain weak magnetic fields that attract dust and other airborne irritants for humans. As it has no moving parts and the magnetic field is so weak, it is totally inefficient for this purpose. But if you got say... twenty of them... and a significant enough power supply...

You could make a miniature rail gun to fire projectiles! ... however, due to the immensely cheap nature of these parts, you would likely only have one shot. I wonder if Dr. Horrible would like to know about this? Oh well.

That's not bad, but I don't think it was designed to ever be used as a weapon. It might not be all that safe.
