This is a funny hiatus. I am writing more. My confidant is missing. With whom do I confide? The funny thing about secrets is the need to share them. I can't share this with my daughters, and my sisters would harangue me. Other friends also would lecture me. This forum is too public, but it also has false anonymity. I'm willing to be a confidante, if you like. I only know you through LJ, so even if I were to tell anyone (Not likely at all), it wouldn't cause harm, because I know no specific details of where you live or even your real name.

Thank-you, I told my sister-in-law, who asked me if I wanted my ex-husband to know. She had faced a similar situation, and he is not going to tell anyone from where he is. We all agreed that the girls do not need to know, yet ( ... )

I promise to pray for you daily. My mother survived breast cancer (had a radical mascectomy back in the fifties ) and ended up outliving my Dad by almost ten years. I've lost several other relatives to cancer (grandparents, aunt, uncles and two cousins).
