It has been raining for two weeks, and NOAA expects rain to continue through the 18th, which is as far as the weather grid posts its predictions. I live in a mud pit, and I am going to commit Texan sacrilege:

I wish it would STOP raining!

Sounds AWFUL!! Rain in small batches is okay, but when it goes on and on like that, it's DEPRESSING!! A friend of mine owned a sun lamp, and she found it helped her mood when it was rainy/snowy/icy, etc. one of the 'truisms' about New England is "Don't like the weather? Wait a minute." We can have 80 degrees for hours, two hours of driving rain which drops the temp. to the 30's, then the sun comes out and it's in the 50's!! All in the same day!

Today, I saw it! There was something different! It was, it was DRY PAVEMENT! Also, I had to use that thing with cobwebs on it: the sun visor.
