it's all good my husband is considering taking a job because the pay (58 dollars an hour) is amazing but the hours, 7pm-7am are hellish.

$58 bucks an hour... only in my dreams. It's a school bus driver for me... for now.
My husband makes awesome good money, but it's the same thing - He leaves the house at 6:30 am and he gets home between 6:30 and 7:00 pm.

I don't think I've ever made over 15 so it's amazing pay to me.
I just don't know if he can do it or I can handle being by myself 4 days in a row, I'm sure I'd just end up at home making cocktails and playing video games for the rest of my life or something.

I know what you mean. I am surprised I didn't turn into an alcoholic. If I didn't have kids so young I think there's a good chance I could have gone that route. It's hard being home believe it or not. I have friends that say they are jealous of me that I have stayed home with my kids for so long. I'm not motivated when I'm alone. It puts me in a funk. I get very lonely. He should try it, the money sounds hard to refuse. you'll both have to work hard to get organized and fit his new life style into something productive for both of you.

Having read the comments so far, you don't need the job for the income so why not volunteer at something you would actually enjoy? The SPCA needs folks to play with dogs & cats, old folks need to go for walks, other folks need to learn how to read, soup kitchens need servers, I've got no idea what all is out there but there must be something you would like better than driving arm pit farting brats! (I love that title and shall use it from here on out!)

My husbands make good money we live comfortable, but with my son going to college now, and we are still renovating our house, the extra money means, well extra's for everyone! If I don't get some spending money coming in, then we have to cut out eating out, and music concerts and trips to the city etc.. I think volunteer work is great but right now, I still have 4 kids with a lot of needs and wants. SO I'll get a prescription for Zanex and fill a bus with arm pit farting brats!
