i just finished reading a book called Generation Kill, by an embedded Rolling Stone journo, attached to the First Recon Battalion. Interesting stuff. Not damning, certainly not good, but well written because of a deliberate attempt to avoid editorialising. Iraq was fun for no-one, and no-one wins. If you want to have a look i will send it over to you.
