I'm giving up and having Lola towed to the nearest volkswagen mechanic tomorrow around 10am.

Now, marvel briefly at my circa-2002 html capabilities!!! Vroom vroom....?

Yeah, that buzzer sounds très wrong. But Lola looks pretty swanky. Hope she gets seaworthy without too much expense.

All I currently know from the mechanic is that the fuel pump is seized. From general knowledge I'm also pretty sure we're going to need a new alternator. Maybe I'll get lucky (but I really haven't had any good luck this whole year) and it will turn out needing just a wire, or it's clogged with cat hair. I've had cats (and kittens) nesting in my engine-parts, which is NEVER good.
