I'm getting out of my apartment. I don't like my neighbourhood, my roommate, the apartment itself. I was not so aware that this is what is making me feel unhappy. I'm going to live alone for the rest of the year. Since I decided this, I have been walking on a cloud. The city is brighter. My hope for the future is before my eyes; like a flat ocean

i love living alone ! its by no means financially smart but its the best thing i ever did!

what was the thing that got you to decide you didn't want to live with roommates anymore? Was there a tipping point? or one bad roommate who made it unbearable?

For me it was a friend who mentioned that roommates are so distracting. I then started thinking about how much time I do fret over things that are going on between me and her.

I had intended to move from my old place about 6 months after I moved in,once I got acclimated to the city and had a stable job

no place to live yet. The drama will unfold in January. I'm gonna be out of town for a while and when I get back, I'm going to try to get all this settled before school gets crazy. January 15th moving day would make me so happy.

but at my current place, the lease is in my name and my roomate is leaving in May. The lease goes til Sept 1st. So we need to find someone who is willing to take over the whole lease for 8 months. If we can't, then I'm stuck here, but I'll do my best to make it work.
