Man, I totally forgot to write about the Pogues concert. Well, what can I say? It was awesome. The first opening band was good (actually, it was just a guy with a banjo, but he was really good), the second one was lousy, but then the Pogues came on, so who cares? So, remember that post I did back in October where I mentioned that there existed an edition of The War of the Worlds illustrated by Edward Gorey? I found and bought a copy last night. I wasn't even looking for it---I had just gone in to get some hot chocolate.

This has officially made my week.

I make excellent mojitos. I'm fairly certain that if I ever find a girl I wish to date, this will be a major selling point.

Well, I'm glad I forced myself to go to kendo last night. It was exhausting (especially since it was my first time practising in a few weeks), but it felt good to get back into it.

Lord knows I still suck at it though!

Well, after a year or so of it being dead, I finally bothered to buy the parts to rebuild my main computer. Cost about $500... replaced the main board, the RAM (replaced 512 MB of RDRAM with 1 GIG of SDRAM), the processor (went from a P4 to an AMD64), and the graphics card (went from AGPx4 to PCI Express).
