Im outraged at the national election beyond all capabilities of articulating it in mere words, but that's not actually what I'm going to comment on.

My friend Gulu is from Kentucky, and from what she's telling me, it seems Kentucky elected a senator despite the fact that he made off-color remarks about the other candidate, such as that he resembled a son of Saddam Hussein and that he admitted (proudly?) to not reading the newspaper for 6 months.

and also we are one of 11 states that banned gay marriage.

it's all the rednecks and ignorant assholes out here, go figure.
