I like to read, but I hated the Great Gatsby. There were so many adjectives in each sentence that by the time I finished reading one I didn't even remember what Fitzgerald was describing. I guess that's what people like about him, but I think roughly 50% of the book didn't need to be there.

I know what you're saying man, but I like it because he gets in every detail and description. I mean it takes a while to read but at the end you have the perfect mental picture.
