I now have two "excellent ideas", one of which one professor thinks has a lot of potential to research, one of which the professor thinks would make an, I quote, "excellent master's thesis." This is on top of my two or three other ideas I really want to research. Aw, application and pure theory science why must you both be so my loves

My friend Rose has a small beginning-raiding/casual social guild on Malfurion (PvE) that I might be transferring to play with, and dragging Negevs and Kojin along with me if I do.

I thank you for the invitation, but I think if I left Winterhoof and didn't go to Az, I'd have *thinks for a moment* - Fontyspike (my brother), Infidel Castro, Zame, Flyp, and some of my oldest offline friends (people I've known since I was in second grade) all thwapping me. ^_^

And in seriousness, right now I seem to be just trying to gear up the sort of mental slack to adjust to the idea of being Alliance again (which, flavorwise, is bleh - I'm a huge Horde fan and a bit anti-Alliance) and adjust to the idea of being back on a PvP server.

It's - usually - not the global pvp itself that bugs me, it's the psychologist in me cringing (albeit in fascination) from how pvp makes it worse and things like having to listen to people be so blind as to believe that the people playing the other faction act worse, and/or their faction acts better, when there's dicks on both sides. :x

Granted, it happens on pve, too, but pvp servers are, in my experience, more pronounced with it.

Which I can deal with, I just can't deal with it quietly, and
