It all started with raccoons when we first moved in. We finally got rid of them back in the spring. Then, a couple of months ago we discovered mice. There's one thing I've learned this summer, if I've learned anything....

Don't quit your job unless you have prospects elsewhere, your spouse is super loaded and doesn't mind pulling more than his share, or you can deal with being alone all day for extended periods of time (i.e. months).

Went up last weekend to see Andrea before she gets married. Still haven't met Jamey. Oh well. We went to Dinosaur BBQ, saw the musical Wicked, played in Lake Ontario, and saw some of the bars in R-town. Musical kicked ass, as did the Lake, food wasn't bad, but the bars.... I don't know.... This past weekend Andy and I went and got another parakeet. She's a purple-y/blue. Very pretty and very friendly. She hates being in her cage. I guess she wants to hang with the other two birdies. We named her Panama after the VH song. We wanted something nondescript because she's too young to be 100% sure she's a she. Not as easy as real babies. ( Read more... )
