I wasn't allowed to use a push mower until I was like 11 or 12, old enough to control the thing. My kid won't be on our riding one till she's almost old enough to drive :-p

Yeah I wanted to smack the crap out of the Dad as well.

I was never allowed near a push mower. My dad refused to teach us how to drive a stick. Said he didnt want to put us in any kind of danger like that. That as a kid freaked me out. I never wanted to drive in a car with a stick after that. lol
