The closest things I ever had were this plastic dollhouse with little plastic figurines and lights that you can turn on and off(running on batteries of course), and this book that's like a pop-up book except you open it and it's this little paper dollhouse. Neither is particularly beautiful, especially the plastic one, but nevertheless I'm quite fond of both. I'd love to see your dollhouse, it sounds wonderful. Then again I just like things like that. ^_^
Hehehe. We had two of those, one was supposed to look like Green Gables in the book Anne of Green Gables and the other one was Victorian. They're so cool.
You should get a dollhouse kit! And then I could help you put it together! Wheee!
Only downside to this hobby is that it adds up. My dad and I just went and bought electric wiring and wallpaper today, and with all the tools and glue and supplies needed, it rather adds up. So does furniture, but I think I'm going to try to make some pieces myself.
Go to Canada. In Canada they have poutine, and poutine is awesome. For those unlucky enough never to have tried poutine, it's french fries with gravy and cheese curds or shredded cheese on top. Scrumdiddlyumptious.
This may, of course, be totally beside the point, but, my dear Chris, what the hell are you doing in Vermont?
Of all places. I mean, really.
I think Vermont will serve you maple syrup with anything. They're trying to get rid of the surplus...
I'm cheating on you with a short film with Alex in it. Telephone me so I'll be reminded that Wait still exists. I'm losing hope that we'll ever get the damned thing filmed.
Hello. I found your profile when searching under P.G. Wodehouse and loved your writing. Then I noticed your reference to David Sedaris. Then your reference to Oscar Wilde. So I just have to ask: does the 42 have anything to do with Douglas Adams?
Oh, and how is the shouting working for your Dad? I tried it the other day, but it didn't prevent the TV from pre-empting my soccer game.

Of course it is Douglas Adams.
I have looked for the David Sedaris and Oscar Wilde references twice, and I know they must be there somewhere - I read Me Talk Pretty One Day a couple weeks ago, and Wilde never comes out of my head - but I can't find them. But I'll take your word on it.
Shouting worked splendidly for my dad and the house is now put together and we've gotten a good start on the wiring for electricity. Actually, he hasn't let me do anything for that, as usual.
