I'm a (retired) "bookworm"?

Jan 30, 2011 01:06

I stare blankly at the paperback novel sitting on the desk beside me, the borrowing receipt stuck out of its cover.

I borrowed this book at the beginning of December 2010 on extended loan and it was due 2 days ago. I had the book for nearly 2 months (with loads of spare time to read it) and I had only read 37 pages O___O

Personal reflection on being a reader... )

Ah, I can TOTALLY relate!
Come to think of it, my friend introduced me to Neopets back in hich school and that's when I started going on the internet A LOT. These days I just stalk online shops, auctions and fan sites. I really want to finish a book but there are SO many distractions. I just don't see myself as a "book worm" anymore...*sigh*

It's not a bad thing of course; being a bookworm! In fact, you're an "environmentally friendly" bookworm! EVEN BETTER! ^^
