I came to understand that sunsets to him are like the white cascade of petals in my memory. His quiet pleasure of looking at the sunset is like my afternoon ritual of wormwood and nutmeg tea. In our own way, we were paying tribute to a bittersweet memory of grief and loss.

My idea of a drabble when I try and write one is about 1000 words, so yeah, I know how sodding hard to write they are, but I'm sure you'll be great at it, because you have SO much control when you write.

And I've always loved sociopath!Snape :-)

The last line was the product of my obsessing over the three English translations of LP that I have, lol. (Since I don't know French and all) I just somehow combine the three together to create the feel I want.Hm, would that make me the plagiarist of plagiarists? X-D

This chapter was poignant and moving, peppered with those little "awww" moments which show just how wonderfully Exupery's text can be adopted for other fandoms :)

Your snape and Harry sound completely IC. It seems logical that Snape would tell that flowes had thorns out of spite, and Harry would retort with calling him a grownup :) Both guys sound like they could say something like that in canon :)

I sort of want to write the sequel that he said he was going to write actually. We'll see. (In Kingdom of the Rocks, he told his wife that he would write another story where she is not a rose, but a princess)
