No, Teja had been gently polishing minimal dents out of the axe he had uyed for yesterday's outing -- killing two men and a horse did take its toll on the material!
Now he stuck his head out of the forge, axe in hand, small whetstone in the other, to see what it was.
"Greetings, Attila!" he said. "Is there anything you wish from me?"
"Yes, get out here and ride with me," Attila suggested. "This damn spotted Bramble or whatever it's name is, won't go well on the leading rein and the grey needs a proper work out."
He tightened the reins and backed the grey up then offered Teja the halter rope.
"Bramble, yes," Teja says. "Would you hold him a moment longer, while I shed the leather apron, and don my cloak?"
He quickly goes back inside, and emerges a brief moment later, without tool, axe, or work apron, instead wearing his Tyrian purple cloak, and his sword on his belt -- it would be odd to ride without.

"Calm down, damn you," he growled, his tone even and soothing, and the horse stood still, head high and ears pricked while Teja sorted himself out.
