Why?

Why is that we can put ourselves out there for people, only to treated like a novelty item only to be looked at and used when ever it is convenient? Yet, as people needing to needed we stick around. Why do we do that? Why do we put up with shitty answers to questions and less than welcoming greetings on the phone. Why, I ask you. Is it because we' ( Read more... )

I think it's low self worth, and doing what you know instead of doing what you want to do. At least it was for me, until one day I made a concious decision to "FIRE" everyone. I called up people and said things like "Caroline, this has been a one sided friendship for years, and I am moving on. Please don't call". I even gave that call to certain family members.

A month latter I met my love.

And I have never regreted making this decision.
