-Atonement, by Ian McEwan- I think that Ian McEwan is my new favorite author. This one was different from the others of his I've read. This one takes place in the past, for one thing, but it also had different themes and ideas, where the other two were pretty similar. It's nice to know he has a wide range. I just

A Million Little Pieces was a major fraud scandal after Oprah featured it on her show. He had presented it as real memoir, but it turned out to be almost entirely fiction.
