We worked really hard in the lab through all of September, and didn't quite get to where we wanted to be by the beginning of this month. But we learned a lot, and I feel like our experiment is making progress in leaps and bounds. It's exciting almost every day

I guess it was two weekends ago now.. my computer died in the middle of posting, then I recovered this later.. anyway, Jen and Paul were here for a couple of days on their way home from train-related fun in southern CO, and Holly and Sammie came out for the weekend to surprise them.

Toddler Sammie is pretty sweet. She's kind of at a frustrating age, where she can understand a lot but not say very much. So there's a little bit of 20 questions in trying to figure out what she wants. She loved seeing people play music on Pearl St.
BTW, I've enjoyed your photo updates about the house. It looks like it is coming together quickly. Also, the tennis ball cake was pretty fantastic :)
