Dream Effects: The light hearted feeling of laughing with friends at school, even if it's the scolded sort of laughing. As if nothing can go wrong and that one moment will last forever.
"Heyyyyy!" A girl's voice pitched to travel cut through the air somewhere behind him. Atsuro turned, grinning when he saw who it was.
"Afternoon, Yoohoo!" He's dressed in his school uniform like the other students milling about the grounds, although his white hat still makes him stick out like a sore thumb.
Yuzu frowned, aiming a blow at Atsuro's head as she ran the last few meters to the otaku boy. "Stop calling me that, jeez! Anyway, where were you today?"
Atsuro laughed, taking a step back. "Easy, Yoohoo! I'm only here to pick up some text books... Well, one of my forum groups were having an offline meet at lunch today so--Hey! That hurt!"
"...Skipping class is bad."
A third teenage boy dressed in the same school uniform appeared behind them, although the odd headphones perched about his ears made him stand out just as much as Atsuro. Yuzu greeting him gave Atsuro enough time to duck away from her blows and hide behind his friend, grinning playfully.
"It's just a once in a while thing, Yuuto!"
"That's alright then."
"Haha, I knew you'd understand!"
"Jeez! I don't get you two." Yuzu huffed in irritation, crossing her arms, before the cross expression dropped from her face, a cheerful smile replacing it. "Well, now that Ahoro's here, let's go check out that new ice cream store!"
"What!? What's up with Ahoro?"
[There is going to be a very sleepy looking hat-less Atsuro blinking at the Dreamberry. He's spent the past few days going through the system, so he sort of knows what to expect. But still, it's kind of weird, seeing his own dream like that.
But--] Haa. [--leaning back against the pillows with the Dreamberry above his head, staring at the screen, it feels so long ago now. Even though the lockdown was only seven days... The school days where skipping class was their biggest concern seemed like centuries ago compared to this week of fighting with demons. And now Yuuto was going to become the King of Bel.]
