Racism

Why are people so obsessed with racism? Enough already, cry on someone else's shoulder. Seriously, everytime someone says "he's a racist", "she's a racist", "you're a racist" - I don't care. If I actually am racist then I shouldn't have to change my beliefs to appeal to your sensibilities, and if I'm not racist then you're just being a whiny ( Read more... )

I made a racist comment, as well as some anti gun comments when I got mugged by a black guy at an ATM machine at gunpoint. I got over both those feelings. You never really know what factors have come into play to make a person say or think what they do.

ok, and the next level of consciousness is reverse racism, then beyond that humanism! what about illegal aliens? do they have inalienable rights? they don't have to live like refugees... tom petty

The biggest fault I see here is that racism respresents a loss of your civil liberties due to discrimination because of your race -- one begets the other. Certainly, if a person wants to be racist they have that right, but at what point does that person's right to be racist begin to impose itself on the rights of others to not be discriminated against ( ... )
