I recently hosted comment_fic, and was pleased to also manage a few fills.
This year was pretty dismal for writing, but then this year was dismal all around, so I'm not beating myself up too much.
Hope anyone who sees this enjoys the holidays. Here's hoping 2021 is much better!
Theme: One-Sentence Fills
Prompt: MCU, Natasha Romanoff/Pepper Potts, memory
Fill: The calming and pleasant memory of waking up next to Natasha kept Pepper grounded - no matter how badly she wanted to kill Tony for what he'd done this time.

Fill: Lily focused on her Potions notes as she passed James Potter and crossed the courtyard, reminding herself that even the handsomest of distractions were distractions still.

Fill: “It’s snowing out there.” Bucky shivered and moved away from the window.
“Perfect reason to stay inside.” Sam handed him a beer and clicked on the TV, motioning for Bucky to sit down.

Fill: Connor’s eyes narrowed when he walked into Doc’s and saw he was late to the “party”.
“You f*cken started without me?”
At the bar, Murphy grinned, emptying his glass, and Rocco shrugged.

Fill: In Hell, it had been a job to Mazikeen. One she took pride in, enjoyed, but her actions never came from a place of unbridled rage.

Fill: Lucifer swore he hadn’t hung the mistletoe.
Chloe knew she hadn’t.
But the two kissed, anyway, and all the while Trixie smirked from the shadows.

Fill: Sometimes I shock myself, thinking back on what I did for love.
It shocks me even more that I had the strength to walk away.

Prompt: One Direction RPF - Liam Payne+/Niall Horan - Barista AU
Fill (x2): “Excuse me,” Niall approached the counter and addressed the barista whose name tag read, “Liam”.
“Yes, sir?”
“There’s something wrong with this napkin.” Niall held the offending item in front of Liam.
“Oh, what would that be?” Liam raised his eyebrows.
“It doesn’t have your phone number written on it.”
“I’ll remedy that right away, sir.” Liam reached for a marker, scribbled a number on the napkin and flashed Niall a killer smile. “I’m free this evening, by the way.”

Fill: Honey rubbed his tummy and let out a satisfied sigh.
“That cake was delicious, Takashi, but I don’t think I will want any more for a while.”
Mori produced a silver dish and lifted the cover off.
“Pie?”
“Yes!”

Fill x3 [DCU, Harley Quinn/Poison Ivy]
“A little flower, just for me?” Harley cradled the small pot in her arms. “Thanks!”
“Happy holidays.” Ivy kissed Harley on the cheek.
“I got somethin’ for ya, too!” Harley reached into her pocket and pulled out a small box.
Ivy put one hand to her chest and took the box with the other.
She opened it carefully, unwrapping the tissue paper inside just so, to reveal -
A human tooth.
“Lost it inna fight two days ago.” Harley said proudly. “It’s a pretty one, huh?”
Ivy gently placed the box, tooth still on display, on her cocktail table.
“It’s perfect.”

Fill: Pepper had eaten in the finest restaurants all over the world, and tasted every fancy confection the culinary masters had thought up.
Would they laugh or be horrified at her favorite decadent treat?
A chocolate cake out of a box with lots of frosting that came from a can.
Natasha was no expert baker, but the care and love she put into making the dessert?
That was the sweetest.
