I felt igby goes down was trying to capitalise on all the goodness of this new wave of 'thinking teen movies' you know,your donnie darkos, your 13's - prozac nation. Maybe I'm wrong in thinking these were marketted at teens. Anyway.. All that stuff. I mean it has a place but it was like one big connected cliche that didn't tickle the right places. I just felt like beating my head against the wall everytime something happened.

lol, it's funny because I have thoroughly enjoyed all of those movies mentioned, I seriously hadn't looked at it that way, you do have a point which I shall ponder.
As for the brick wall thing, closest I got was hitting my head on the couch from bouts of crazy laughter. Glad you've seen it ! :)
