That one band made alot of what the scene was. Besde they weren't just one band they had the skills to make it.I agree with steve we need to make somthing.
ok dude for one thing one band doesent just make the whole scene. i agree that they were talented and were a good band but i mean u have to like give credit to upcoming bands and also other bands that have been playing.by you saying the scene is dead it discourages ppl from going and giving support to these other bands . u say the scene is dead i say its growing.
Alot of these upcoming bands dont have what the superfriends had.But your right the scene isent dead we still have the lusitania.Dont get me wrong I like some of the new bands but honestly alot of them dont have talent (no offense)that these guys had.
WAIT WAIT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!! im sorry ruben i know you were telling me this earlier but i kinda agree with kieth. Those 3 bands didnt make the scence and if those bands are gone then the scence isnt. its just changed.and steven just cause yarbrough broke up it doesnt mean the scene is dead.
john the scence is flw, yarbrough, soma, six under par dude every time we went to one of their shows every band wanted to play with them so they basically where opening up for them... they basically made the scene these bands drove more crowds then any most bands.... and to me the scene is dead but now it is time for bands like victoria drive, ursa minor, nervious girls, bury the beautiful..... now it is time for bands like this to create something new....cause if u think about it alll these bands are playing to b better then one another in their own catagory most of all them.
i was just saying that since yarbrough gone their won't b much of a scene........and yes their are other bands but u can tell me they draw crowds like yarbrough does......i don't think so....and thats y i said its time for us to create a band tat popular do u get me......?
Actually some bands draw more of a crowd then yarbrough, alot more bands do, its just that alot of people are so used to the yarbrough, a black letter, a day to end, victoria drive ect. that they just think a few bands make up all of El Paso's scene.
Not that I have anything against those bands they are all good, but im just saying people should be more open to what they listen to.

but dude
flw yarb and 6up were only the "indie" scene, theres more than that here
by the way,
the indie scene died when famous last words broke up.
they were far better than yarbrough would ever be
