friends only?

friends only livejournals are pretty stupid. I've been here for years, and to be quite honest I don't really care who reads this thing.

yea...but some of us aren't afforded the same openness. i know in my case there are issues discussed in my lj from time to time that i don't want work or the fam to see...and occasionally personal stuff i don't need stalkers/ex's/herbs to know about either.

the "friends only" livejournals are usually the ones where they post about just everything inane, which i find funny.
"OOOH i just got a new pair of bedroom slippers! look, i'm taking ten pictures of them with my digital camera! also crossposted to my myspace and xanga. WOOT!" haha. i'm glad you're posting again.

Yea it doesnt really bother me ethier. Sometimes I'll make certain post friends only but just because I know for sure that some people lurk my journal on a regular basis.
