This slow death of LiveJournal is really kind of sad to me.

I've thought about switching but I've had an account here so long that I really don't want to bother - even if I can transfer my posts.

I know. It's gone from a check every few hours thing to a check once a day thing. I'd give it up entirely but ... but ... we have a history!

I challenge myself to post everyday, though it's not happened recently because of I've just not felt well. Facebook is fun, no doubt about it, but I miss everyone's lengthy, and substantial, updates.

for the most part, I post over on a wordpress blog now. evmaroon dot wordpress dot com. but some things that were a good fit for the filters of LJ aren't so great on a public blog, I guess.
