Galveston and Hurricane Ike

I have been watching videos all day long showing the waves crashing over the seawall and the flooding already taking place.  I know that my sister and Judy left Galveston yesterday and are staying in Houston with friends. I know some people - friends of ours,  decided to stay in Galveston.

It is surreal watching the waves topple over the 17ft high
