Could you attempt to explain why you're feeling frustrated? I didn't go to the seminar, so I'm not sure how the speaker presented things. Did he lay into it so heavily that he forgot that there was the influence of this thing called the Enlightenment and its Deistic principles? Of course, on the flip side, it's easy to just close one's eyes to the facts and ignore all of the evidence that the Founders believed only in the Christian God and his son - albeit to varying degrees.
I kind of wish I'd gone, just to see what he had to say.
The history aspect of the deal was great, if cursory.
I guess I just shut down when (for lack of a better way of putting this) the "conservative agenda" gets pushed. I'm still figuring things out, I guess, and I think I operate slower when it comes to joining into something like an ideology or anything. I just like to weigh it out, and pushing too hard, too fast just doesn't groove with me.

Thus, frustration.
