There is a map function in your Pokémon Gear - the device you are using to communicate. There should also be a physical map somewhere in the things your "mother" gave you.

As to the box, it's a large blue cuboid with a window in the front and the word "POLICE" written on the top. If you see it, do let me know; it is rather important.
