1. Which of the Harry Potter books have you read? Which did you enjoy most?
I have read all of the Harry Potter Books.Out of all of the books, the one I enjoyed the most was Prisoner of Azkaban.I think I enjoyed it most because for one,Sirius Black.He's one of my most favorite characters of all.Another reason it's my favorite is because of all the things you learn about the characters.How Scabbers was really Peter Pettigrew,about the Marauders(^_^) and so much more.I would also like to add how much I enjoyed Hermione punching Malfoy, I swear I had to read that over again the first time I read it because I couldn't believe it.Poor Draco though.Oh well he kinda had it coming. XD
Added: SPOILER WARNING!BEWARE:In some of my answers I have spoilers of some of the books.Safe to say not of the first one and second.But then why would someone be here who hasn't read the books?.Oh well, you're warned.Not much of HBP spoilers I'm happy to say.
2. How do you feel about Voldemort as a character? (Not as a person.)
That's a very well-thought out character,he's the perfect bad guy.Completely heartless and merciless(sp?).All the other bad guys have like soft spots and give in to the good, not him.I've never read about a character like that, only in these books.It almost seems as if he's flawless(but of course he isn't).Voldemort is indeed one of a kind,sure evil is evil but now that I think about it he's a really,really good character.Not good as in like Harry-good but like, well-written good.He's still bad and evil.
3. Which Harry Potter character can you most relate to? (In the sense of personality, intelligence, character traits, etc.)
I would have to say I relate most to Luna Lovegood.Like her,I'm always like in a dream world.No matter where I am, I'm off thinking about something else.In my opinion Luna's quite smart(She is after all in Ravenclaw) and people say that I'm smart so there you go.She's also different and misunderstood and I feel like that an awful lot.(But then again,what teenager doesn't?)I do and say a lot of things that make people look at me strangely,point and maybe even whisper and think I'm a bit too random.I don't have many friends(Well not at the school I go to now) and like her I get happy when someone talks to me,calls me their friend or hangs out with.So I guess that's how I'm Loony Lovegood.
4. Who is your favorite Harry Potter character? Least favorite?
My favorite character is Sirius Black.He's a riot,the black sheep of his family(I can relate) and headstrong I guess.I absolutley loved him in the chapter "Snape's Worst Memory", Maruader-era Sirius just rules.Did I love what he did to Snape?,no..But he deserved it.*whistles*Anyway,I wish he didn't die though.Would this be considered a spoiler?I guess if you haven't read it,I'll put a spoiler warning somewhere then.I siriusly(=D) wish he didn't, I really cried when I read it.It just really,really shocked me.I went NOOOO!He's just so loveable and so,so Sirius.Horrible reasons I know.Ooo, my least favorite would be that now fiesty,redhead Ginny Weasley.Don't shoot me!It's just that what happened to this character that was shown as shy ,quiet and just as the youngest of the Weasley children.All of a sudden this attitude comes out of nowhere.I guess she must have been hiding her inner redhead(Sorry to stereotype).And it seems she becomes the golden girl and somewhat of a mary-sue.I never disliked her before but then when I read OOTP and HBP she seems like a completely different person.Snogging boys in the corridor(gasp!),being stubborn,arguementitive and well a tad bit annoying.So I guess I only dislike OOTP and HBP-Ginny.I'm perfectly fine with her in COS,POA and GOF.(She was hardly mentioned in SS)I guess that's it.
5. What thing, event, or person has had the most impact in your life? (Please don't use yourself because you can't think of someone/something else. Think hard!)
The person who's had the most impact in my life I guess would be my best friend,Becky.I say her because we're basically going through the same thing right now.LIFE.It's hitting us pretty hard, and at the most difficult stage in our life(teenage years) my parents decide to move about 1,000 or so miles down south(FL).I can go to her anytime and tell her what's bothering me and she'll be understanding and caring.She's the one I could relate to most.She's also really smart,funny and a bunch of other things which I admire her for.But there's another person I would like to say that had made an impact in my life just as much as Becky.It would be my older brother, he's just the best.He's went through so much stuff as a kid,drugs(;_;) and other thins that will be kept personal.But now he's clean, good and perfect.He still lives here, with me and my parents but it's amazing how he's still standing and being the best person he could be.Definately, a role model in my life.I love him to death, despite our 11 year difference.
6. What makes a friendship valuable to you?
One where you could go to that person and tell them everything and they won't judge you but console you.Also a friendship that's honest.I forgot where I heard this but it's really true and how strong friendships should be: Blood is thicker than water but friendship is thicker than both. When you have a friendship like that, make sure you don't loose it.I'd also like to add that a friendship should get at the point where the other person is like a sister or brother.That's a really good/strong frienship.It's an important thing, so is family but that's another good thing about frienship they're NOT your family.(In most cases).Theirs a lot of things that make a friendship valuable to me.Some of which I wrote already.I think I went off topic, but all the frienships I have are valuable I guess.
7. If you had a hero (real or literary) who would it be? (Please keep in mind that we're asking IF you had one, and again please don't use yourself because you can't think of someone else. Be creative!)
I said that my brother is a role model for me so I guess he's my hero as well. Like I said before he's been through a lot of stuff in his life and all of that experience makes him really strong.Honestly, he's the most perfect person I've met,he just gives,gives, gives and gives.I feel awful that I can't do much for him but he makes that okay.If it wasn't for him I would go insane in my house.I can't stand my parents sometimes and he knows what it's like.There should be more people like him.Once again, I just love that kid to death.(He's not much of a kid though... (:/)
8. What are your personal aspirations for your future?
I don't know if this counts but I hope in the near future to go back to CT.It'd be for a visit, seeing as my parents want to be here for life but I just have to go.I miss it so much and all the people I had to leave behind.*sigh*In the future I'd want to move to NY, go to NYU with my bff(Becky).Which reminds me I want to be friends with her still, no matter what.I don't want distance to break up our frienship,that would be just horrible.She's really like my sister, the one I've never had.Also, to maybe even work for a magazine or newspaper, heck I'll go on a limb here, maybe a writer too.
9. What are your most prominent personality traits, good or bad? Which one do you feel best defines who you are as a person?
My most prominent personality traits would be: reclusive,anti-social,funny,random,shy,a bit moody and sometimes optimistic.The one that best defines me as a person I guess would be reclusive.I just don't go up to people and introduce myself,I wait for them to do that.I don't talk unless spoken to or if I really have to.I can't help it, it's who I am.But even though I might be reclusive around the people who know me really,really well I open up.Other than that, I'm just that emo kid who's reading a book.That's how people see me I guess.I'm not cold just too shy.
10. What house combination do you feel you're most like? Least like? (This is not pushing. It shows whether or not you are self-aware and may not have an influence on the voting process.)
I would have to say I'm most Ravenpuff, I say this because each time I take quizzes where they sort me they say either Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff.I'm also in a sorting community which put me in Ravenclaw.I wouldn't say like Ravendor because I'm not really that brave.Least like would be Slytheriffen.I'm not that determined or that brave which are both Slytherin and Gryffindor traits.So that's just not really me, I just wouldn't fit in for my lack of cunningness(Sorry, I don't think that's even a word) and bravery.
11. Why should we not squib you?
I read the rules, I followed what they said about applications,(I'll re-read this seven times right after I'm done answering this)I'm not pushing for a house,I answered all my answers honestly and I will continue to follow the rules once I'm(hopefully) sorted.And if you haven't noticed I even put in Potions on the LJ cut just incase it was needed and for good measure. ^_^ Oh, I also didn't type lyke dis.(I just hate it when I see that, such an eyesore)
