1. Which of the Harry Potter books have you read? Which did you enjoy most? I've read all 6 that have been released and I think my favorite book was Chamber of Secrets. This was because it was the first time you were introduced with Voldemort’s past, so it kind of foreshadowed that it would be important in later books. I also loved how the book was portrayed. It was almost like a murder mystery novel, everyone and anyone could be petrified, and you didn't how it was going about and you also had Harry hearing voices everywhere. Everything was given to you in fragments that you had to piece together and even then, it makes you want to read the book over and over again, because each time you do, you're looking at the story from a new perspective, and there might be new things you never noticed the first time around when you were reading it. The second book was definitely the most fascinating one in my opinion.

2. How do you feel about Voldemort as a character? (Not as a person.) I think Voldemort is a very interesting character. He has his reasons for being the way he is and we're just slowly moving into his past and how he came to be. I'd personally love to read his biography. There's so many complications behind him and so many things we don't know, he just didn't turn evil overnight or was born that way, even though you could kind of tell from a child that was a little sinister. But what made him that way? I'd love to know. Like I said, no one turns evil overnight, there's a process to it, a complex one, yes, but that only makes it all the more exciting to read.

3. Which Harry Potter character can you most relate to? (In the sense of personality, intelligence, character traits, etc.) I think that would be Ginny. Because she and I were kind of in the shadows of everyone else, when I was younger, I was always the younger girl who everyone kind of disregarded. I didn't have any older brothers whose reputations I had to live up to or anything like that but I did grow up with boys my whole life. Also, the way she grew, from being a lovesick child to a beautiful and strong flower, gaining confidence in herself, I can totally relate to that. I can also relate to the people around her calling her a whore, just because she can't stay tied down to one person, and there's nothing wrong with that. She's just exploring what she wants because she's been deprived of it for so long. In the end, she will be the one who's happy in the end, I guarentee it. And even when she got the boy she really wanted and he had to let her go, she understood. She didn't break down and cry. She stayed strong, and I really admire her for that.

4. Who is your favorite Harry Potter character? Least favorite? My favorite character would have to be Cedric Diggory. He's an interesting character and the epitome of a boy that every girl would want. He was also one of the few people that was kind and friendly to Harry, and he didn't treat him like the Boy Who Lived, Cedric treated Harry like a person and I really respect that in him. To me, reputation is something you use as a first impression or a way to meet someone kinda but you don't use it to judge someone. You have to know other things about them, reputation is just a weird substitute for a first impression and you can't really base anything on those. Cedric was a very kind, carefree and undiscriminating person. And he was also completely gorgeous in the movie. I'd love to read his biography too. My least favorite character would have to be Dolores Umbridge. She's just this evil evil woman that you wouldn't really love to hate, you just hate her. Or that might be just me. She's everything that I despise in a person, she abuses her powers, has a bad fashion sense, and she even had the nerve to attend Dumbledore's funeral pretending to care that he died. I also thought she was very rude in the 5ht book for interrupting Dumbledore and she really has no respect for the students at all. She was such a condescending character and I personally hate it when people talk down to me. Even teachers, I tend to like them better if they treat you sort of as an equal, not as if you're stupid and they have to walk you through everything. Teachers guide you, and help you, they aren't supposed to control everything you do like Umbridge does. She's just ridiculous. Sorry if anyone does like her, I'd be willing to listen why you do, but I still won't like her ^^;

5. What thing, event, or person has had the most impact in your life? (Please don't use yourself because you can't think of someone/something else. Think hard!) A person/event that has had an impact on my life...hmm. For a person, that would be my ex-boyfriend. He was the first person that made me feel like I was beautiful and that true love can exist if you look hard and wait long enough for it. He also helped me out of a long depression I had during 7th grade, I had just moved away from the town I grew up in and I literally had no friends at all in my new school. I went through each day eating alone and feeling like an outcast really, my only consolation was sleep. That's where I started getting addicted to sleeping pills. My ex helped me out of that, and I really appreciate him for it, because he kinda gave me a reason to stay awake, I loved talking to him all the time and even though I started lacking sleep, it was better than sleeping my life away. Eventually I started opening up to other people at my school like I had to him, and people began to notice me and I felt happy again, it was such a turning point for me really.

6. What makes a friendship valuable to you? Trust. I've always had this issue of trust with my friends. There are people I can only tell certain things to, because I know they'd understand me for doing whatever is it I did. I won't spill my life story to just anyway. They need to gain my trust first before I really let them into my life. I'll make with just about anyone but there are only a few people who are, I guess my true friends, people I could never ever replace. Also, going through something with that friend makes them valuable to me. I can tell who I'm really close to or not when I've been through something big, good or bad with them. Knowing that in whatever that big time was, that friend would never have once left my side or betrayed my trust means a lot to me. Those two things I think, make a true friendship for me.

7. If you had a hero (real or literary) who would it be? (Please keep in mind that we're asking IF you had one, and again please don't use yourself because you can't think of someone else. Be creative!) If I had a hero hmm...I don't really. I don't particularly look up to anyone, I admire a great amount of people and I might take after a few of the thing they do but there's no one I really idolize. The closest I think to a hero would be Angelina Jolie. Because she does what she wants to do without regard to what people with think as long as it feels right to her. She went from having one of the worst reputations in Hollywood to a global human icon and I admire her for being able to put her best foot foreword and not listen to rumors or what anyone else had to say about her. She's such a strong woman and I also love that she's going out of her way to support starving children in Africa and the fight against AIDS. Not only is she being a spokesperson, she's actually in those third-world countries talking and interacting with the people and sending over as much food and clothing supplies as she can. It's amazing that she'd go out of her way like that for other people and if I had the power to do that, I know I would too. I already know that once I start earning my own income, I'll do one of those support a child in a third world country thing for less than a dollar a day because knowing that I helped someone really leaves such a nice feeling within me, I already know that from helping out my friends and family.

8. What are your personal aspirations for your future? I personally want to be some sort of journalist. I'm a pretty nosy person and I like to know what's going on in the world, or even in just a small community, I like being in the know, even if I'm not directly involved at all. A journalist is definitely something like that, I love asking questions about people, places, things, and events, and the life of a reporter is never really that dull unless you're doing classifieds or obituaries or something like that. Even then, I love writing and being a reporter or some sort of novelist would be the perfect job for me.

9. What are your most prominent personality traits, good or bad? Which one do you feel best defines who you are as a person? My most prominent personality trait would be my outgoingness. I love making friends with anyone and I'm in general a very friendly person. People might see it as being foreword or flirty depending on how you look at it. I'm also in general a bit of a ditz really so people might not take me seriously at first but I can surprise them, and I have many times. Basically, everyone knows me by how nice I am to just about everyone. I'll talk to you and if we have a few things in common, great, if not, I'm sure we can talk about something and if not, it was great trying anyway =)

10. What house combination do you feel you're most like? Least like? (This is not pushing. It shows whether or not you are self-aware and may not have an influence on the voting process.) I think I'm a Ravenpuff. If castlehogwarts had the option of doing that, I probably would've been voted one over there. I have Ravenclaw characteristics, I believe in working hard towards something you're inspired to do, and I'd like to think of myself as an intelligent person. I may procrastinate a good amount but if a subject interests me enough, you'll find me studying everything I can about it. And personally, I love learning, it's such an exhilarating experience, because learning is a way to live and grow in life, even if all you're learning is a math equation, suddenly, you've got a whole new way of doing something in your life. I'm a bit of a Hufflepuff, again, because I do work hard to be where I am today. I am also extremely loyal to my friends and will do anything to make sure that they're happy and not neglected. I love helping people more than anything and it makes me happy knowing that I've had some sort of positive effect on someone's life. I also have the Hufflepuff trait of being non-discriminating. I'll make friends with just about anyone, regardless or reputation or what people tell me about them because I know there's more to them than that. There has to be.

11. Why should we not squib you? Uhm...you know that's an interesting question. I think I belong in at least one of the houses, and I'm a pretty fair Harry Potter fan. I'm not obsessed or borderline obsessed, I just enjoy the books greatly and while some of the changes they make in the movies may tick me off, I still enjoy them and I won't bash anyone that disagrees with me or anything like that. I'd like to think I'm a pretty tolerable person and being a part of this community would be a very interesting experience for me.
