Wow, a Y chromosome in a sorting community. Awesome. I was juggling back and forth between the Gryff, the Claw and the Puff in this application. There were points that were screaming Ravenclaw (the fact that you want to do research, lends me to think you are a Claw), and then there were points that were all Puff. However your traits, and your choice in those definitely landed me to Gryffinpuff (although, I think you would also do well in either Ravendor or Ravenpuff). And I think you are quite right that you have very little Slytherin in you, or if you do, it is a primary factor in your personality.

Slytherpuffs are better. widars_hallen February 6 2006, 02:24:56 UTC
From knowing you? Definitely a Ravendor. I've known you for a little while now, and I know that you've got a strong personality. You feel strongly for things, you've definitely got that thirst for knowledge, and you've got strong principles. I've used the word "strong" like, six times now. Yep.

I fucking LOVE that song; Tom Sawyer by Rush. I actually used it to define myself in another application. It's just, perfect. Except you aren't a Slytherpuff like myself. I'm just rambling, right now. Because I really, really want to.

I do agree that you haven't got a lot of Slytherin in you. But I do sometimes see it, surfacing. You're ambitious, you definitely have the "I am superior to you mere mortals" thing going on, ahaha. But that's not really Slytherin, that's an aggressive, bold Ravenclaw. One who has little tolerance for the idiots around you, as you say ( ... )

A male? this is just crazy talk! =P

Holy Gryffinpuff. You are a G-Puff to the tenth power. It's fabulous. I love me some G-Puff.

So, that's my unintelligent vote, but it's still a vote anyway.

OK, not that I'm biased or anything...;)

As always, this is practically roaring Gryffindor at me. So much so that I'd almost suspect a push if I hadn't lived with you for 3 1/2 years and gotten to realize that you really ARE that much of a lion. I will be vastly confused if I see votes for non-Gryffindor combinations. *heh*

I could make a case for Ravendor, or even for Slytherdor, but what the heck. WE are the OTP of Gryffinpuff-ness, and we must spread our disgusting Several Sunlit Days cuteness.

You know what? I really ought to explain this better... cheshire23 February 6 2006, 05:07:02 UTC
The case I could make for Slytherdor: In my opinion, HP canonical examples of Slytherdors are Harry himself (obviously), Sirius, and Andromeda Black-Tonks. They are ambitious, but rebellious - "heretic" is the word that is coming to mind, for some reason. They will not go down the path that life tries to push them down, at least not without a fight and not without very good reason. In this application, that same spirit shows in your reasons for liking McGonagall, and also in the drive that you have to Do Something with your life ( ... )

I think you're pretty Ravendor, so join me and my fellow maniacs. I find you intelligent, your tone of voice very outgoing/bold, and I like you so I shall steal you for the Ravendorks.

So, yes. Ravendor. You. Now. :D I will deduct galleons from the other houses if I have to.

I was totally joking about the deducting galleons thing. Clearly, I plan to deduct knuts and sickles. Lots of them.
