Church

So today was our fourth week in a row of attending church. That's not such a big deal unless you know that we haven't attended church regularly for about 4 years. I love hearing of people finding a good church and being blessed there. It's no secret that the past 5 years at my church have changed my life in so many wonderful ways. I can't imagine not being a part of a God-honoring local body... a place where I find ladies who teach me how to be more of the woman I want to be, a place where friendships run past mere acquaintance into the level of feeling like family, a place where the Bible is taught so profoundly, a place where I can even touch lives by His grace... it is a blessing for which I cannot thank God enough.

I'm happy that you have taken these steps and hope you begin to see more and more fruit from this good choice!! Blessings to you!

Korban doesn't always want to go to church either, and 98% of the time doesn't want to go to junior church (during the service), but he loves it when he's at church and does ok sitting with us. Some Sundays I wonder why I go because I can't hear the sermon half (or more) of the time, yet somehow I do get refreshed! The fellowship with other believers does wonders for me. I'm glad you're taking these baby steps to church. It's worth it in the long run!

Sooooo glad to hear it. Yes, the fellowship is worth it, even if you barely catch the sermon. Been there. Done that. Oh wait, am there, doing that. ;) HUGS

This blessed me and made me smile :) I think little ones are SO perceptive and will catch on quickly and the parents example is what really will shine through and make an impact.
