I know at least two of us have been bitten by Star Trek fever since the new movie came out, so here's a question I've been thinking about since I discovered that apparently there wasn't going to be a Japanese dub of it and also I can't get the idea of Vulcan!Yamapi out of my head.

Who would you cast for a Japanese version of Star Trek?I think...er

HMMMM!! For great lolz, I want to cast Ikuta Toma as Captain Kirk. Imagine how hilarious that show would be! And Mizushima Hiro can be Spock. Teppei Koike would also make a good Chekov, and the guy that was Namikiri from Zettai Kareshi can be Bones. And then of course, Gackt would play Special Alien Designed For Gackt and only have a cameo.

Eri (Mizukawa Asami) could play up a good Uhura. I also think Namikiri as Bones would win forever. Yes...ultimately XD

I dunno who I could see as Kirk actually. Osamu Mukai doesn't fit my image of the part, but he could sure as hell act it...
Scotty....hmm...oddly enough I don't think I could cast him because he was my absolute favorite in the old show o.o
Also is it weird, but I think Sulu would be difficult (I mean, it is tough to live up to freaking George Takei)

I also agree that Gackt should have a special alien cameo, as some weird creepily attractive plastic race from some planet named with numbers.
Reminding me, it's official, Gackt has a cameo in the upcoming Decade movie~ I shall share more when I manage to find better pictures...
