More stupid rules, more deleted postings. The weirdest part is, I have no idea why. All my images were within the required parameters, yet no explanation was given. Just a "reply to your post" email, saying submission removed. Nothing more. And wheeee, you know me. I have a bed temper, and I hate being disrespected ( Read more... )

Someone hacks your server, and you say 'meh'...

Someone takes down a posting of yours, because it was oversized (according to the rules of the community, clearly posted) - and you lose your marbles and go on an hour-long text-message hate rampage.

Doesn't seem right, does it?

Yes, in a knee jerk response to yet ANOTHER deleted post because of image constraints (my photo, by the way, was 600 x 400 pixels, 77 kb, and was deleted from the same community as this oversized image posting, I let your power tripping admin know what I thought of him. As for an hour long tirade via cell phone? Simply not true. Our "conversation" lasted *maybe* 10 minutes, and that was INCLUDING the flood of "U r a psychopath" messages that came to my inbox.

Long story short: Your "admin" made himself look like a jerk, deleted a post, got an earful for it, then banned me because we got into a pissing match behind the scenes, and said a bunch of untrue crap (in public) to which I couldn't refute, post my side of the story or defend myself. Besides, what would the point be? Some random poster vs. your beloved (if not slightly power-drunk) admin?

Why bother? It's the internet for god sake.

And just so my voice CAN be heard, I tried to post this at photographie, but of course, I have been banned from their ranks. Funny how that works, eh? Ban someone from a heated thread, then you can say whatever you want about them, and they can't do a thing to defend themselves! How perfect is that ( ... )
