So my computer is seriously in need of a reboot, restore to factory settings like yesterday, and unfortunately, I never had a installation disc with the computer when I first got it, because the newer ones want you to make your own restore disc, and I didn't know that until long after I added shit that apparently corrupted the core kernal (per my

OH shit... that really sucks, but I have the same problem. I don't have a restore disk or anything, so if my laptop "dies", I don't know what I'm gonna do... Don't you know anyone who might be able to help you and actually knows something about computers? :/

I can't give you any advice on that, sorry... but I hope, your computer will survive as long as you need it to!

Actually, in my family, I am the one with the most computer knowledge, and what I know is pretty much how to screw a computer up it seems. Unfortunately, no one else has a restore disc because they never noticed or knew that they needed one for their own computers...

I hope the thing lasts as long as I need it, and I am hoping that sooner or later I can somehow buy one of the cheap Walmart computers or even see about buying a restore disc, because I cannot afford to wipe and buy Microsoft 7 to install... Ugh
