I'm still stunned at how things went down last night. I can't believe it was as close as it was, but I am really happy that there will be checks on the government with Conservative seats being outnumbered by the NDP and Liberals alone 132-125. A freind of mine said something pretty profound last night though...the change that Canada went through

I'm content with the election results.

Green Party & NDP has both made gains, but not so much that they have a chance of getting in power and screwing up the country with some of their wacky moral views..(since when is killing people a form of respect?). Just enough gains to make the other parties take a hard look at their platform and think of what they can improve (such as health care, education, environmentalism, and responsible taxation instead of plain tax cuts).

We have another term of Pallister bragging to women at the bar, which is ok, because when he's not proving how he can manipulate a bunch of drunks, he's proving how he can manipulate a parliament full of MP's by staging singalongs. He's representing us, and he does it well, so it can't be a bad thing.
