Anybody seen that Old Navy commercial with the girl in the plaid shorts that prances around and whenever she stops to pose, people appear from behind her? I don't know if it's just me, from my point of view, I don't see how you can hide a floor lamp behind her, let alone the entire cast of Lost

OK, so barring the foolishness of their ads, I love poor man's GAP, and I don't see what's wrong with it being poor man's GAP. Us starving students need somewhere to shop.

Poor man's gap

I always thought poor man's gap was the thrift store.
The stuff looks all the same to me anyway. All I can find in stores is raggety clothing that looks like it is not only from the 80's, but has been worn since then.

Why can't I break in my shirt? If it's already broken in when I bought it, then it's only going to last half as long before it falls apart, right?

Nothing wrong with shopping at Old Navy, but the way they have been framing their commercials, you'd think they were the GAP. It's boring, it's been done and it does nothing for me. Maybe if they were as inventive with their marketing as they were in the beginning I'd be more interested, like I was when Old Navy was only found in the states.

The best was when they used to have all these weird ads in magazines around holidays and gave out free wrapping paper and stuff like that.

I haven't found anything I actually liked in Old Navy in many moons.

For me, it's a toss up between the Old Navy commericials, and the whistling Pepsi commercials with Jimmy Fallon. Horrid.
