Happy Holidays

Happy Holidays to all!

I'm still not done with Christmas shopping, but I decided that making Double Chocolate Fudge is way more important. So to all my LJ Friends, have some virtual fudge. Here's the recipe if you want to actually try it:

1 14-oz. can of sweetened condensed milk
12 ounces (2 cups) semisweet chocolate chips
1 ounce unsweetened chocolate
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 - 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts (optional)

Line 8x8x2 inch square pan with wax paper (make sure there is enough paper over the side of the pan - this is how you'll lift out the fudge)

Put milk, chocolate chips and chocolate in microwavable bowl, microwave on high for 1-3 minutes, stirring after each minute, until mixture stirs smooth

Stir in vanilla and nuts. Spread evenly in pan. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until set.

Lift out candy and cut into 1-inch squares.

Yield: about 5 1/2 dozen pieces, 70 calories each.
