Strange as it is, it is good to see the city being repaired.  I wonder how the city began to crumble in the first place...  It is quite the disconcerting thought.  What could cause buildings to disappear so suddenly?  This business with those people taking over the city troubles me as well.  How long have they been here to form such a take over, I  ( Read more... )

It has been a long time for all of us. Though I must say I'm curious as to how they're growing.

There's no mud or anything around 'em?

No, there isn't. They are mostly decorating the buildings, I've noticed.

I was surprised as well. I had thought it a clever paint job, but to my surprise, they were indeed real.

You were fighting Sin too, weren't you?

I don't intend on letting those punks take over anything, especially if we're the ones who have to deal with them.

The flowers are unusual around here?

That I was, and I believe I might have seen you during the fight as well. It is good to see that so many survived. If only we were able to do the same earlier in my world.

Haha, with those thoughts in mind, I doubt they will remain in power for too long. If we were all able to defeat such a threat together before, can we not do it again?

They are. Most of the plants seem to be made of metal or glass, even the grass. It's quite the phenomenon, especially since the food at the restaurants is completely natural.

Haha, it seems as though everyone is enjoying them.

Have you been well, lately?

Yes, I'm all right.

You defeated the monster ... I'm glad. Are you okay too?

That is good to hear.

I am doing just fine. A little worried over the current situation, to be honest, but trying, for now, to to rest awhile.

It's hard to say what is causing it. It could have something to do with this Organization everyone babbles about...it could be a flux in time/space...even a natural anomaly that was destined to occur on this world.

Forgive me, but I'm afraid I don't quite understand. What exactly do you mean by the last two ideas you mentioned?

Ah~ simplifying it might be a bit difficult. By 'flux in time/space' I mean perhaps that time is doing something wonky here and perhaps changing the environment because of it. The last one can relate to both in a sense...it's the idea that this deterioration was meant to happen and that there's nothing we can do to stop it. 'All roads lead to Rome' as the saying goes and perhaps all the possibilities lead to this one event of the city beginning to change.

Change is inevitable after all...it's just usually slower than this.

I believe I understand. I have heard that time seems to flow differently for some people. Is that along the lines of what you meant?

As for this sudden change, I'm just as in the dark as you are, I'm afraid.
